I was recently lucky enough to experience the real Austin, Texas while performing at the Austin City Limits Festival. Apart from sharing my love-it-or-hate-it Diet Coke recipe, which gained much more attention than I expected (sorry to anyone who added too many pickled jalapeños!), I also made sure to visit all the city’s top spots.  

From barbecue joints to honky-tonks, here are my top recommendations if you ever find yourself in the heart of Texas...
