It would be short-sighted of me to say I never expected us to be dealing with two pandemics at once, but monkeypox is here and isn’t going away anytime soon. We asked journalist Alim Kheraj to report on the global health inequalities that monkeypox has revealed and its parallels to the Aids crisis that began in the 1970s.
