My Top 5 Films About Relationships

This week, we’re going deep into matters of the heart – whether that be the joy of friendship, the search for ‘The One’ or, perhaps most important of all, our relationship with ourselves. I love our piece on the female-founded platform that invites strangers to forge friendships at its supper clubs (sharing food and wine is always a good idea). There’s also this hilarious guide to navigating the ever-more polarised world of online dating, and a beautiful personal essay on queer sex as a joyful act of resistance.
Personally, I’ve always really cherished the times in my life when I’ve been single, so I especially related to this celebration of the growing numbers of women embracing the single life – and loving it. And you know we can’t resist a recommendation, so here’s my list of five films exploring life, love and relationships that I hope you’ll enjoy too.
- Moonlight (2016)
- No Hard Feelings (2023)
- Past Lives (2023)
- How To Have Sex (2023)
